Our seminars focus on current
topics of interest to pest control professionals who must continually
deal with challenges in the Agricultural industry.
These topics include:
- The biological characteristics of insect
pests.
- Plant disease epidemiology.
- New and emerging crop pests.
- Pest
resistance.
- Regulatory challenges.
- Good land and soil stewardship.
- Organic
farming techniques.
- Methyl bromide alternatives.
- Identification of crop
pests.
- Crop disease predictive modeling and much more.
These seminars
are certified by the California Department of Pesticide Regulation for
Continuing Education credits for Pest Control Advisor and Qualified
Applicator license holders. Depending on the subject matter, many of
these events are also approved for continuing education hours for the
national Certified Crop Advisor license. These educational events are widely respected as
intensly scientific meetings directed at real world utility. The audience
is encouraged to participate throughout these full day events, and by
the round table discussion at the end, participants have had an in depth
experience that is memorable and profoundly appropriate to their roles
as agronomist practitioners.
For those
who cannot attend these events, a few of the more popular seminars,
individual powerpoint presentations, and speaker interviews have been
preserved in downloable files and DVD format which are available
through this site via links below.
